Kahn Kleinman’s Healthcare Law Practice is focused on the representation of health care providers in regulatory matters and business transactions. Our clients include owner-operated nursing facilities, national nursing home chains, and academic medical centers. We also represent physician practices ranging from one doctor to dozens of physicians, as well as specialty clinics and imaging centers.

Our health care regulatory practice is experienced in the state and federal regulatory aspects of the health care industry, which has become one of our nation’s most regulated industries. We assist our nursing home clients in navigating the state Certificate of Need process, from application preparation through the administrative and judicial appeals of these application. We counsel physician clients on Medicare compliance issues, and assist them in maintaining practices that avoid legal problems.

Our health care business practice assists clients with the development and expansion of health care facilities, from the purchase of real estate to the drafting of construction contracts, as well as the leasing of health care facilities and medical equipment. We provide counsel to the lending industry for transactions involving health care borrowers, and represent borrowers in the negotiation of all types of financing arrangements.
