Real Estate

Kahn Kleinman has one of the most prominent real estate practices in Cleveland.  Over forty (40) years of experience makes us one of the longest-standing developer practices in the area. Our attorneys possess in-depth experience in negotiating and documenting the most complex real estate transactions of all types.

The core of our philosophy is that there's always a way to make a deal.

We've been creative and resourceful in enabling our clients to remain profitable in a highly cyclical industry. We have handled thousands of diverse real property transactions, working with developers, owners, financial institutions, landlords, local and national tenants, construction consultants, and contractors. We also represent insurance companies, pension funds, non-profit organizations, governmental authorities, and healthcare institutions in development, construction, and loan transactions, and we have been instrumental in structuring real estate syndications and the financings that fund real estate projects.

Besides location, the other key to real estate is financing. We work with real estate clients when money is plentiful, as well as when there is no "easy" money for real property. Even in times in which financing is difficult, we have helped our clients structure complex joint ventures and participation loans, or syndicated equity to give investors tax credits or preferential positions, which helped get the deal done.
